Artistas e familiares se despedem de Danilo Santos de Miranda no Sesc Pompeia, São Paulo
O Sesc Pompeia, em São Paulo, foi palco do velório do incentivador cultural Danilo Santos de Miranda, que faleceu no domingo (29).
Amigos e familiares se reuniram na manhã desta segunda-feira (30) para prestar as últimas homenagens ao sociólogo de 80 anos. Após aproximadamente um mês de internação no Hospital Israelita Albert Einstein, Danilo veio a falecer. Diversas personalidades, como os atores Cássio Scapin, Dionísio Neto e Elias Andreato, marcaram presença na cerimônia, assim como o cantor Tom Zé.
Danilo Santos de Miranda era conhecido por seu trabalho no Sesc São Paulo, onde atuava como diretor. Tal posição o tornou uma figura proeminente na cena cultural da cidade. Durante o velório, o caixão foi coberto com a bandeira do Fluminense, time do coração do incentivador cultural.
O sociólogo, filósofo e ex-seminarista era casado com Cleo Regina, assistente social. O casal celebrou bodas de ouro - 50 anos de casados - em 2022. Juntos, tiveram duas filhas, Camila e Talita, além de quatro netos.
A morte de Danilo Santos de Miranda causou grande comoção no meio artístico. Nas redes sociais, personalidades destacadas desse setor prestaram homenagens ao incentivador cultural.
Nomes como Bárbara Paz, Leopoldo Pacheco e Pascoal da Conceição ressaltaram a importância de Danilo para as artes nacionais.
